Phase 3 & 4 Wastewater Project Updates

Construction for the Phase 3 & 4 Wastewater Project is anticipated to impact the following areas for the week of November 17th:

Paving was completed a little over a week ago
Gravel shouldering will continue to be completed on the edges of pavement this week (shown in black on the attached map)
Sewer main/forcemain install on open Land & City property (near Highschool), and north of Golf St (out of roadway)

Rimrock Lodge sewer main install will be ongoing
Manholes will be staged on the edges of residential roads for the duration of this project. They should be placed off the road but inside the City’s right-of-way. Please be aware of these.
For the following week prior to Thanksgiving, construction crews will be working only Monday- Wednesday.

*Note: construction schedule is subject to change due to weather, unscheduled field conditions, etc.

The weekly schedule is an estimated schedule.

Please be careful around these areas and follow all traffic control signs and directions. Please watch for equipment and truck traffic for your safety. If possible, please use alternate routes to avoid delays.

Construction will continue Monday - Thursday from 7 AM to 7 PM, and clean-up work will be done on

Friday from 7 AM to 12 PM.

Funding Announcement

The City has worked to secure $390,000 in funding to help pay the SID assessments for low-to-moderate income individuals in the Phase 3 & 4 project. The grant funds are through the State of Montana Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. This program provides direct grant assistance to qualifying low-to-moderate residents (residential properties only) that are landowners or renters.

As the City works to develop the SID assessment for Phases 3 & 4, information on how to apply for the grant funds will be made available. At this time, the City wants to let residents know the funds are available. You will qualify for the program if your income is at or below the income table shown below.
